Here's an impressive and delicious way to serve breakfast for your family and friends, they will love it and will request this breakfast ring again and again.... This is one of many ways to make and fill this delicious edible ring, be creative by using other ingredients from savory to sweet. Happy cooking, Enjoy!

Ingredients: Small Ring, Serves 6-8 (can double recipe)

  • 1 can Crescent Roll

  • 3 Italian links, remove casing and pre cook on stovetop, set aside, cool, can use any type of ground meat.

  • 6 -7 Eggs, pre scrabble 3/4 way, set aside

  • Adding to mix-1 medium size potato, peeled, cut into small 1/4 inch squares, season with whatever you desire, pre cook on stovetop, set aside, cool or for additional potatoes, cut potato larger, cook to brown and place in the center of the ring when serving

  • 1-2 green onions, cut small pieces

  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar cheese

  • Maldon salt or any handcrafted salt with herbs

*There will be extra filling, keep refrigerated, I use to make breakfast burritos

Direction: preheat oven 375'

  • In a large bowl mix, sausage, potatoes, cheese, green onions and fold in scrambled eggs, set aside

  • On a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper roll out the crescent rolls and lay in a sunshine shape circle overlapping the bottom part of the crescent roll creating the sun the center should be at least 5 inches round

  • Generously fill the bottom portion of the crescent roll, do this all the way around, then fold the top tip over the filled part tucking tip under the center bottom of the roll, do this all the way around

  • I like to sprinkle maldon salt or handcrafted salts on top

  • Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown

  • I have tried egg wash but it tends to brown to fast before crescent roll is finished baking so my advice is don't, keep the ring rustic

  • Let sit a few minutes before cutting to serve. Enjoy!

  • Leftovers keep refrigerated, reheat in microwave or oven
