Barbecued Plum Kabobs with Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients:

  1. 10 Slightly firm red plums

  2. 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar

  3. 1 heaping tablespoon Brown sugar

  4. 1 tablespoon Honey

  5. 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

  6. 1 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice

  7. 1/2 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat outdoor barbecue, or use indoor grilling pan on the stovetop.

  2. Skewer 3 plum halves.

  3. Drizzle with the olive oil, placing cut side down first.

  4. Grill 3-4 minutes on each side.

  5. Plate on a platter and serve with alongside your favorite BBQ entree, or use individually on dessert plates accompanied with vanilla ice cream.

  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze over plums.
